Esther Tuttle: Kalamazoo, Michigan Photographer
Hi, I’m Esther! I first got my start through portrait photography in 2011 when I upgraded my camera to photograph items in my Etsy shop, which quickly grew to a love of documenting people at their happiest.
I prefer natural moments, smiles that are genuine and people just being themselves.
Whether it’s a wedding day or a portrait session, my style is photojournalistic and candid, telling the story as it happens, but I can always help you with the age old question of “what do I do with my hands?” My editing style is film-inspired and rich. I want your photos to stand the test of time, which means no heavy filters but all the best things enhanced and boosted.
I have a solid list of trusted second shooters that you might see on a wedding day, but Nick Turske is my creative partner, life partner, and favorite human light stand to call upon.
I’m based in Kalamazoo, but I’m always open to travel, and I keep my passport handy.
We believe:
- Love is love, and I will gladly document that.
- Your wedding is your day. Make it special and make it your own.
- You should get as many tattoos as you want.
- Ice cream, coffee, and craft beer all count as a full meal if you do it right.
- Dogs belong everywhere.
- There is never a bad time to travel.
- You should say every single pun that comes to mind.

Entrada: An expedition or journey into unexplored territory.
Life is a journey. Most of the time, we have absolutely no idea what's going to happen next, and I'm so thrilled to be there to capture the most exciting parts of your adventure.
But enough about me, shoot me a message, I can’t wait to know you!
